Pass It Along

Hello Friends,

Here are a few images from the wedding I shot just over a week ago.  It was a really fun day with some really nice people, some great locations and some wonderful weather.

First let me show you some of the girls before the big event.  They made my job really easy.  At some point, I said "strike a pose", and they carried that phrase through the day, as you will soon see.  They made the photos a lot of fun.

Pass It Along

We had a great day for a wedding the other Saturday.  Although it was not the warmest of days, Ean and Holly kept each other warm durring our quick but profitable outdoor shooting session.  I was privilidged to be a part of their day.

I have shot at this bridge a number of times, but I think I like this angle the best.

Pass It Along

It feels like every blog I have posted recently has some remark about the weather not cooperating.  This one is no exception.  A few minutes into shooting it began to rain lightly for the rest of the shoot.  This time we were prepared and found a few spots in Oberlin that were outdoors with a canopy or porch-like structure to shoot in.   Oberlin is a great place to shoot.

Jessica and Dan were great to work with.  You could see how much they loved each other and they were quite comfortable in front of the camera.

Pass It Along

I had the pleasure of shooting a wedding the other day which had a unique schedule.  The ceremony was pretty early followed by an early reception.  After all that we went out for pictures.  This setup allowed us to catch some of the evening light, and as far as photo quality goes it is ideal.  All day it was either raining or acting as if it would, until we began shooting.  The skies opened up and gave some wonderful colors.

Connie was a a real character.  She was full of life.  I told her when she was getting ready that she won the award for the "most strange (in a good humorous way) noise made by a bride on her wedding day", but little did I know that she would win the award for "most awesome faces while goofing around with friends" by the end of the day.

Shawn and Connie acted as if they were professional models.  They were so comfortable in front of the camera - having loads of fun goofing around as well as passionately embracing.  It was a great wedding.  I hope the pics do the day justice.

Pass It Along

Phil and Sarah were a great couple to photograph.  The location they picked (a park on the east side of Cleveland on the lake) was a terrific park and certain spots reminded me of the Atlantic coast.  Although the shots did turn out in the manner we were looking for, the weather was a bit crazy (which seems to be pretty common lately).   At times there were gale force winds and at the end of the shoot is was raining on us pretty hard.  All that being said, we had a great time and were lucky to get so much before we were forced to give in to the elements.

That has to be one of the coolest locations in NE Ohio. It looks like Ocean City. The first shot is my fave.
