Stephanie and Chris Married!!
2009-10-08Hello Friends,
I've been excited to post these photos all week. There's so much I could write about this wedding. The weather is always a consideration in Northeast Ohio fall weddings, but it was really perfect. The other thing that was perfect was Stephanie's attitude. I was so happy to come into her parent's house that morning and see her smile. Even with a 40% chance of rain, she was so excited and so happy; perhaps the happiest bride I've been privileged to photograph. I hope you can see this in the photos. Enjoy...

Ok, that is a lot more photos than I usually blog, but for a girl who counted down her wedding on a calendar for 250 days, I had to take some extra time here. This really was a great wedding to be a part of. From the time at the the house getting ready...to the humorous and personal reflections from the priest at he ceremony...To the wonderful speech from Stephanie's father about learning to take joy from the small things in life...to the maid of honor's obvious love for the bride...to the mothers and grandmothers....I truly enjoyed this family and this experience and believe it helped me capture some of my best images. Congrats Stephanie and Chris.

LOVED the pictures, each one is better than the next. But I too am amazed with the "jump" and I am partial to the car/Steph/Chris photo.

Erin and Kevin
2009-10-07Despite the weather not cooperating, Erin and Kevin had an amazing day. Although it would be delightful if your wedding day was soaked in wondrous golden rays of sunshine peaking out from behind fluffy clouds, one cannot plan a wedding in northeast Ohio without the possibility of that dreaded word - Rain. What has always impressed me as a witness of so many weddings over the years, is a bride and groom who are so excited to marry their love that the weather has little to no effect upon their happiness. Erin and Kevin were such a couple. They both enjoyed each other so much you would never know there was a rain cloud in the sky. Because of this perspective, their happiness made its way into their photographs.

We did get to run outside in the mist for a few minutes and catch a few shots.

Kevin and Jennifer Married!
2009-10-01I'm happy to be able to post some images from the wedding I just shot with David. Kevin and Jennifer had such a fun attitude throughout the day, even though it was raining for much of it.

Kevin and Jennifer made a great impression on me during their big day. They are truly meant for each other and were one of the happiest couples I've ever photographed regardless of the weather.
Sarah Smenda:
Hi Jennifer and Kevin,
I worked with your mom Kathy at NCB and I just want to say you two are a beautiful couple and the pictures are just perfect. Your photographer did a fantastic job, and made a dull, rainy day look like a perfect day for a wedding. Good Job.
I wish you two a lifetime of joy and happiness and God Bless you.
lydia:

2009-09-22Had an amazing outdoor wedding the other day. Everything was great - Kristin and Brandon were very much in love, the location stunning, the weather terrific, and nothing went awry.

I have been starring at this photo my wife took (and I edited) for some time and I still can't stop diggin' it!

Sun-spots are always nice, but this one is intense. (in a good way I hope).

the one below reminds me of a cherished photo from the 70's. It is one of my current favorite looks.

The "almost kiss" is delightful>

Although I like the first one the best this is a very close second. I love the light in the trees.
[Though the famous photographer Ansel Adams said, "You don't take great pictures, you MAKE them" I must confess that what I enjoy most about my photos has little to do with me as a photographer. I may have suggested a pose for the bride and groom but I didn't create the passion. I may have chose to shoot in front of a tree but I didn't sculpt the branches and decorate it with leaves to filter out the sunlight in such a appealing way. Appreciating beauty is more the job of a photographer (as opposed to creating it).]
