This past week, Kristin (my amazing wife and fellow photographer) and I had the pleasure of shooting a few family (mainly baby/children) pics for a surprise father's day gift. The shoot went smoothly and I was more than pleased with the results.
Look at the expression on Jordan's face below - and the lighting that Kristin worked up on this one is too appealing!
I am a sucker for the seventies expired film look like the one below. I have to hold back so I dont use this on too many pics.
Since we knew the family pretty well (they are family to us) we were able to bring our children. I often use my son Judah (below) for a test subject to adjust lighting. I had to throw in this pic with the rest because he has the most tremendous expressions.

Is that money? Oh yes. And by the end of the day, this lovely bride and groom were literally sweeping in the cash. The money tossing is a tradition for the families of this couple, one of which places this wedding in my top five greatest weddings, and a strong first for most interesting! Congrats Daniela and Gus!

This Saturday was pretty sweet. Brad and Brenda are great. And yes, the wedding party was big. I think my biggest ever. These two had a lot of friends and family celebrating their big day with them. Here are some shots from one of the remarkable moments of the day. We did the photos at the Q. Moments before the beloved Cavs fell to the Magic we were there on the court standing where Lebron hit the game winner a week ago. It was very cool. The Cavs staff was awesome and got me a huge ladder for a couple of these shots. Everyone in the wedding party even had a little shoot around. No offense guys, but I think the Brenda had the highest shooting percentage. I was real tempted to put my camera down and try to throw one down, but hey the pictures were exciting enough.
