Favorites from 2008

Welcome!  Here are some of my favorites from 2008!

Under Viel Picture by Jim Sanders

I love portraits in nature.  It seems so natural.  For this one, I actually joined Scott and Sarah under the veil at Squaw Rock.

Details by Jim Sanders

I've made it a point to pay attention to details in different aspects, especially each piece of jewelery the bride is wearing.

Byron and I have perfected the Silhouette shot after the ceremony.  It only looks good in certain situations with certain lighting and certain weather, but when we can do it, it always looks stunning.

This couple was happy to get away and have some alone time.  Their willingness to have some fun, as well as their true wedding day emotions, made these shots stand out.

Big Groups by Jim Sanders

Large wedding groups aren't a problem.  We've had lots of practice!  Byron will hold the camera way up in the air on a monopod, and I'll use the remote to take the picture.  It took a while to get the hang of it and hold it at the right angle, but we're getting pretty good.

Colby Park by Jim Sanders

This lovely couple looks like they should be in a model magazine!

Stan Hewett by Jim Sanders

I finally had the opportunity to shoot at Stan Hewett Hall!  My favorite is the shot of the couple on the sidewalk with the bright green trees on each side.

More to Come!!
