Vince and Kim were married a couple weeks back. I must admit that I am a bit jealous right now because they are reading this from Italy. Both of Vince's parents moved here as children from Italy and Vince lived there as a teenager himself. When Vince was describing the slow deliberate pace of life he experienced there, I put a LONG vacation in Italy on the top of my to do list. Speaking of that slow pace of life, Kim and Vince were able to have a purposefully un-rushed wedding day. This was not only enjoyable for all, it also became a lifesaver. More on that later in the blog.
So back to the "un-rushed day"...when the limo dropped Kim off at the church in the morning there was a bolt of sorts protruding from the tire sidewall. Of course, by the time we arrived at the park to shoot the artistic shots after the ceremony, the tire was flat. It was super helpful that we had a few extra hours planned into the day. We took our time shooting while the tire eventually was changed. It did not disrupt the day, and we can all look back and laugh at this point (I hope).
David (my "second shooter") took this next shot while I was shooting away, and I need to give him props for capturing a great picture.
Kristin, as usual, helped me edit the pics and I think that she did a spectacular job on this next one.
I love the way the wall draws your attention to Kim and Vince while also allowing the eye to go back and enjoy the blurry tree.
The food at the reception was a delight.
Good luck guys - and have a great time in Italy!
