At some point along the way, whether it was at our engagement session or an earlier consult Sharon told me the thing that was most exciting to her about her wedding day. "I just can't wait to marry my best friend." Well that day has finally come and it sure turned out great. When I arrived the wind was blowing so hard I thought it was going to make me and my soft-box impersonate Mary Poppins, but by the time we were taking pictures it was a nice crisp fall day. Better yet, Chris stuck to the outdoor wedding plans through it all and the sun joined us for their ceremony and contributed to one of the most beautiful backdrops for a wedding I've witnessed all year. Take a look...
They first saw each other before the ceremony at Squire's Park. Excitement and laughter filled the air all day, but never was more emotion flowing than in this moment.
This is not photoshop, but rather the proper use of the zoom:)
I already knew that Sharon and Chris were one of the more adventurous couples I could work with. Our engagement session involved boulder climbing. So I figured they would have no problem venturing off into the forest for a bit. I hope you enjoy what came of it.
This was also a special day because it was Sharon's Grandpa's birthday.
Everyone had a blast at the reception...
Sharon and Chris, it's been sweet getting to know you both. Your wedding day was exactly what you wanted I'm sure. I'm glad that I could be a part of this story of two people who are so happy together.
