We've had a lot of blog silence lately, but that is going to change in a big way. I hope everyone enjoys the new blog layout. It's been silent on the blog front, but quite busy otherwise. We've got some really exciting new ideas for 2011. I've spent a significant amount of time on rebranding. I'm also determined to be more involved in social networking. Greg is one reason for that. He is somewhat of a twitter evangelist. He got me started with it after one of our consults and I'm going to roll with it the best I can. What better way to kick off the new blog than with a few pictures from Greg and Caitlin's wedding in Akron? When I shot Greg and Caitlin's engagement shoot last fall I knew the wedding day was going to be a lot of fun. Here is one of my favorite images of the two of them together on this chilly, but sunny day in Quaker Square.
I'm excited to show you some of these picture because I think they really show you the essence of Greg and Caitlin's relationship. I love to capture the genuine emotion of the wedding day. There was plenty of real smiling, laughter and joy throughout the day. Here's a glimpse of the excitement as everyone was getting ready.
Parisa with Pink Petals did a great job with the bouquet and all of the other floral arrangements.
When we arrived at the Hilton in Fairlawn it looked stunning. The first thing I noticed was the limes. Heidi of Heidzillas was coordinating the event and she was great. Heidi, Nelli and I all appreciated the lime usage. I decorate my studio with limes. 6 years ago when we started Finest Moments I wanted to use "lime" in the name or logo actually. I'm glad I didn't go that far. Anyway, we discover that Caitlin's sister hand cut and handled all of these limes. It was a lot of limes. I didn't do all that slicing, but I have to say it was worth it.
Once the dancing started it didn't stop. It was quite a celebration. There were a lot of shots like this one, but none better.
We stepped away for a few more photos late at night so Caitlin could test the functionality of these suspenders. The fun never stops with these two.
A heartfelt hug is a good conclusion to a marriage celebration like this. Thank you Greg and Caitlin for choosing us to capture these memories. Congrats to you both and I hope you are having a wonderful time in that 80 degree weather. You missed another Northeast Ohio snowstorm!
