Kevin and Joy commissioned us to photograph their wedding in Chicago and I'm so glad they did. They were two of the kindest people I have ever worked with. Their hospitality toward us was beyond what I could hope for. Their wedding was a held at Architectural Artifacts in Chicago, which is a photographer's dream. I can't remember ever having such a hard time choosing my favorite images. This is certainly one of them:
The night before they invited their closest friends and family to a backyard BBQ at their apartment. It was a night filled with laughter and fun, and everyone got their favorite drink.
The wedding celebration was filled with even more joy and laughter...
It was also very elegent, and all the choices displayed great taste.
Kevin and Joy greeted everyone as they came in and it wasn't a boring recieving line. It seemed that each new person who entered into the door just added the collective happiness of the event.
Here are a few of the details...
Before the vows took place, we decided to venture around to see what interesting areas we might discover with Kevin and Joy. There were a lot!
And then there was the ceremony...
One of Kevin's first toys made an appearance on the dance floor late in the night.
Wow, this was an amazing experience. Thanks Kevin and Joy. We love you guys and are honored to have been able to capture these memories for you.
