I had the hardest time narrowing down this blog. I think I sorted through my favorites about four times. I photographed this wedding with Mat last Saturday and the whole photography experience was amazing. From the time at the cultural gardens to getting invited up to the top of one of my favorite downtown restaurants, it was fun and beautiful. I'll show you this one first.
A few things I loved about this wedding were the bride, the groom, the bridal party, the families and the perfect lighting at some of my favorite locations. It was a fun way to celebrate the arrival of fall and the connection between Matthew and Jessica.
They enchanged gifts prior to the ceremony then waited with excitement.
It seemed as though Matt was already a part of the family. Jessica and Matthew are high-school sweethearts.
We arrived at the cultural gardens next to several limos parked in front. This is a top wedding destination for pictures. However, as soon as we parked everyone left and we pretty much had the place to ourselves for 30-40 minutes. The weather was perfect as well.
No one ever had to tell anyone to smile. It was a lot of fun. Matt's groomsmen had been best friends since grade school and they helped bring some laughs when needed.
Went a little crazy on this next one. What do you think?
This group was so fun I could shoot the same wedding every weekend and still have fun everytime. I think they all enjoyed taking pictures and did their part to make pictures special at every location.
The reception was held at LaMalfa. It was a dance floor full of pure energy all night.
Pure awesomeness. Thanks Matt and Jessica. It was a blast being with you on the big day and look forward to working with you on an epic album. Congrats on your wedding! It was a full day of photographic fun for us and it put smiles on lot's of faces.
